Gas City Rescue Squad is a group of volunteer professionals that have a desire to help people, and serve the community of Gas City. Our Training Institute is our commitment to the community to provide the highest quality of EMS education to current and future EMS service people in the area of Emergency Services.
EMS COURSES
EMT - Basic
Gas City Rescue Squad Training Center will be holding it's first EMT Class beginning in August 2016. The class will be taught on the National Standard Curriculum, and will prepare you for the National Registry Exam process. Beginning in 2017, the State of Indiana will require the National Registry for all EMT Basic certifications. You will be taught Current National Standard Curriculum and protocols as well as the requirements for state of Indiana.
Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evening at Gas City Fire/Rescue Station #2, Also the Training Center. Class will begin at 6pm each night. There will be some Saturday classes during the course as well. A complete calendar is available for all class dates and times.
